Hey all, I'm back for another entry about my life updates that nobody ask for. Lol. Let's get straight into it !
First Q1 2023 quite hectic for all, migrating from education environment to industry is not an easy adaptation for most of the final year student, especially the GenZees. But hey, we born to enjoy and not make life too serious !
Internships Vs Me
March 23 was the day that marked the beginning of an incredible journey for me. It was the day when my dreams started to take shape as I received the amazing opportunity to be accepted as an intern at Publicis Groupe. Working with one of the best agencies in the world has always been a cherished ambition of mine, and now it becoming a reality. Not to be cheesy, but yeah.
The role I hold as an Account Executive intern feels like the perfect fit for my personality, and I couldn't be happier. As while I'm writing this entry, actually I am in the midst of my internship journey. Every day brings new challenges, learning opportunities, and chances to grow both personally and professionally. I want to make sure I capture every meaningful experience I have here, and that's why I decided to document my thoughts and reflections.

What should I do?
As the days went by, I realised that my role as an Account Executive intern was more than just a fancy job title. It was a crash course in learning how to juggle multiple responsibilities, prioritize tasks, and adapt to the fast-paced nature of the industry. Constructing a brief? Oh my, that was an art form I had yet to master. But with each attempt, I learned valuable lessons about clarity, conciseness, and the power of a the words explaination made.
Every mistake became an opportunity to improve, and every challenge was a chance to stretch my organisational skills. Yep, there were moments when I felt overwhelmed and lost. But the perks of being an intern is that there's always someone there to guide you. My superior aka my supervisor are the one that always have my back, patiently (really patient) showing me the ropes and offering words of wisdom. Also the seniors in the team. They taught me the importance of perseverance, attention to detail, and the value of asking for help when needed.
What did I do...
As an Account Executive intern at Digitas, my days were filled with diverse responsibilities that allowed me to grow and learn. One of my key tasks was interpreting client feedback and effectively communicating it to the creative team, ensuring that the necessary amendments were made to the creative work.
I meticulously created detailed Job Requisitions in preparation for briefings with the creative team, taking into account the specific feedback provided by the client. During these briefings, I confidently handled discussions about the required changes and updates on the deliverables. Attention to detail was crucial, and I have to carefully checked every copy and visual to ensure they aligned perfectly with the client's requirements.

Additionally, I learned to maintain communication with clients, ensuring that all social media postings were delivered on time and in line with the agreed-upon materials and live date. Sometimes, I even had the opportunity to implement my creative insights to review the creative materials and construct engaging copy.
From feeling lost and confused to embracing the challenges head-on, I've grown into a more confident and capable intern. The mistakes I made in the beginning have become stepping stones that paved the way for my growth.
My journey as an intern at Publicis Groupe continues to unfold, and I am ready to embrace every twist and turn that comes my way. Stay tuned !
